Ministry of Education announced the list of awardees of 2020 National Excellent Teacher Award on July 13th. A total of 72 teachers (18 principals and 54 teachers) are awarded, including 2 kindergarten teachers, 24 elementary school teachers, 15 junior high school teachers, 20 high school teachers, 2 special education teachers, and 9 college teachers.
Prof. Chou is one of the nine college awardees, and the first teacher winning this award in KMU! Awarded teachers will receive prize from President Tsai Ing-Wen at the Chung-Shan Building in Yangmingshan on Sep. 28th (Teacher’s Day). A president trophy, premier medal, and certificate of merit will be given to awardees. They are also invited to survey oversees and be awarded from their institutions for their excellence.
