2025 Empowering Nursing and Healthcare Research Talents Program

The College of Nursing organized the Empowering Nursing and Healthcare Research Talents Program: Workshop on Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis, held on August 18–19, 2025. The workshop attracted enthusiastic participation from master’s and doctoral students, faculty members, and clinical nursing staffs from affiliated hospitals.
Four speakers were invited to lead the workshop:
1. Associate Professor Chia-Chi Kuo, Department of Nursing, Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, Chiayi Campus
2. Dr. Hsiu-Min Chen, Medata Statistic Consultant Inc.
3. Retired Teacher Liang-Yu Jian, Kaohsiung Municipal Chung Shan Junior High School
4. Head Nurse Yi-Chen Huang, Taipei Veterans General Hospital
The workshop covered four main topics:
1. Overview of Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Methods
2. Application of AI-ChatGPT in Meta-Analysis
3. Use of AIGC in Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis
4. Quantitative Evidence Appraisal and Meta-Analysis
By combining theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, the workshop helped participants master the methodologies of systematic reviews and meta-analysis and their applications. This enhanced their research capabilities for thesis writing and journal publication.
The workshop concluded successfully, with participants noting that the content was both comprehensive and practical, providing valuable support for academic research and evidence-based clinical practice.
