On November 11, 2025, the College of Nursing conducted a special lecture focused on advancing academic exchange and collaboration between faculty members and international scholars. The primary aim of this event was to enhance global research perspectives and expand resource networks.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Fan-Hao Chou, PhD, RN, FAAN, Vice President and Dean, presented a comprehensive discussion titled “Research Collaboration and Topic Matching with International Scholars,” wherein she shared her substantial expertise in international research. Dr. Chou also introduced several significant programs, including the Graduate Students Study Abroad Program, sponsored by the National Science and Technology Council, the Ministry of Education Scholarship for Excellent Students to Study Abroad or Overseas Internship Training, and the Fulbright Program. She elaborated on how these initiatives facilitate faculty and student engagement in overseas internships and training opportunities, thereby enriching their international learning experiences and broadening their cross-cultural perspectives.

Through real-life examples and collaborative insights, Dr. Chou urged both faculty and students to actively engage in international academic exchanges, effectively utilize institutional and external resources, and establish robust global research networks.

This lecture aimed to inspire faculty members to increase their involvement in international academic engagement, strengthen cross-border research capacities, and lay a solid foundation for promoting students’ overseas learning and academic growth, thereby enhancing the academic development and international standing of the College of Nursing.
